Setting out to make a mark on the Australian hairdressing industry, Xiang hair was founded in 1989 with a vision and mission to be a forward thinking, innovative and creative brand and to this day, remains exactly that.
The combination of Xiang’s strong leadership, long standing employees and a fiercely loyal client base has ensured more than 32 years of success, resulting in three hair salons and two Razorsmiths Barber Shops across Melbourne, housing over 30 staff members and many industry awards and accolades.
Our team members pride themselves on their reputation, level of experience and creativity and as we head into an exciting growth phase, we are now reviewing expressions of interest for experienced stylists that share our values and are up for an exciting challenge.
What is the position?
We are currently recruiting for our well-established Essendon location, seeking an experienced stylist with a vision for a long term career with us.
This position will see you providing a very high-end service and experience to all clients, properly consulting with them on their desired outcomes and providing advice on home care needs. You will be responsible for ensuring a smooth running day and assisting with providing outstanding content for marketing and social media promotion.
Most importantly, you will contribute to our well established, long standing and positive team culture that we’ve worked so hard on.
Who are you?
We’re looking for team members that are in it for the long haul; people that share our values, sense of humour and don’t take themselves too seriously.
To be successful in this position you must firstly be a qualified, creative senior stylist with experience in a similar role. You are confident in all aspects of styling and colouring and you’re incredibly passionate about what you do. Excellent sales skills and a creative and vibrant personality are a must. Leadership skills are highly favourable.
